Mission:

The PKSS mission is to help develop the human potential of children from very low-income communities, enabling them to become useful members of society.
The JAQ Education Trust was registered in September 1999, under the Trust Act (II)
of 1882 with the following objectives:
  1. Promote literacy and primary education among children of low-income/poverty-stricken homes through the PEHLI KIRAN SCHOOL SYSTEM (PKSS) - a network of non-formal community-based schools.
